La Chèvre d’Or Hotel is a unique and timeless « diva », a jewel that sparkles over the Mediterranean Sea as well…. In 1953, Robert Wolf was enchanted by the Château de La Chèvre d’Or and converted it into a restaurant. It is said that, following the advice of Walt Disney, he acquired village homes and converted them into guest rooms. The hotel then became one of the 6 stops on the « Route du Bonheur » conceived by Relais & Châteaux.
Over the years, the various owners continued to increase the number of rooms spread out in the medieval village. As a result, the Château de La Chèvre d’Or now has 44 rooms and suites.
In the heart of the medieval city of Èze, the Chateau de la Chèvre d’Or offers a warm, unique, and intimate setting high above the Mediterranean Sea. A member of the Relais & Châteaux network since 1956, this magnificent hotel perpetuates the spirit of luxury living of past guests and continues to be a charming address for the future.
