This exceptional evening will feature a short presentation by Vice President Adam Parascandola, highlighting the charity's animal rescue operations in locations such as Ukraine and Turkey. He will also share stories of saving 4,000 beagles from a medical research facility in the US and efforts to end the dog meat trade in Asia.
 
Working in more than 50 countries, Humane Society International advances animal welfare worldwide by promoting the human-animal bond, rescuing and protecting dogs and cats, improving farm animal welfare, safeguarding wildlife, advocating for animal-free testing and research, responding to disasters, and confronting all forms of animal cruelty.
