Tamás Lóránt is talented craftsman who has discovered a unique way to repurpose vintage timepieces and preserve family heritage while doing so. By first adapting his great-grandfather's gold pocket watch, he not only created a wristwatch of rare beauty, he established a brand which is now sought after globally.
What is unique? Like ‘iconic’ or ‘exclusive’, it’s a word that is losing its meaning. Every fashion item is ‘exclusive’. Every car ‘iconic’. Every watch ‘unique’. And yet its not.
But Tamás Lóránt has a different concept of unique and his creations make every piece literally irreplaceable.
LABAILS
Alexandre Labails discovered the world of watchmaking relatively late in 2016 at the age of 25. However, it was a discovery impossible to ignore as it resonated in him. A strong enough resonance to make him quit everything less than one year later to begin the incredible journey of building his own brand.
WatchPro Riviera is one of the first premiere’s of this incredible new Haute Horology brand, which will feature a low-frequency tourbillon, a high-frequency chronograph and an innovative, patent-pending exclusive energy management optimization system for watches with complications.
Temerity by LABAILS is an extraordinary timepiece. The tremendous complexities of the movement and the sapphire case generate an extremely difficult and long production process, which requires the deployment of the best watchmaking expertise throughout the process. Therefore, only 10 pieces will be produced and only upon request.

Founded in 1738, Fine Watchmakers Jaquet Droz perpetuate the ethos of the Atelier’s founder Pierre Jaquet-Droz: forward-looking aesthetic refinement. Pierre Jaquet-Droz’s clocks, automatons and animated human figures were a cultural and mechanical revolution in their day.
Buoyed by its new strategy (‘JD 8.0: A Disruptive Legacy’) and the global acclaim for its Ateliers d’Art models, the Maison is further developing its ambitious vision of bespoke, animated High Horology, bringing together outstanding movements and new-generation materials to deliver a unique and highly personal experience. Jaquet Droz has been part of the iconic Only Watch from its inception and this year is no different. The 2023 edition is based around the colourful world of children at play, brought to life by the mechanical wonders of the Rolling Stones Automaton.
