Soulful Powerhouse RaRa Is Set To Release Her Latest Single ‘Sweet Hurricane’ on 5th July 2024
Soulful powerhouse RaRa (formerly Raquel Reno) is set to release her highly anticipated single ‘Sweet Hurricane’ on 5th July. Her new release is poised to transport listeners back to the golden era of the 1960s, reminiscent of classic divas such as Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield and Whitney Houston.
‘Sweet Hurricane’, co-written with chart-topping songwriting partners Emily Phillips and Ant Whiting, delves into the tumultuous dynamics of a toxic relationship. RaRa explains, "Sweet Hurricane is about the tension between two lovers leading up to an argument. There's an awkwardness when you both want to get something off your chest. Despite the chaos, there's an element of enjoying that volatility in love, much like a hurricane."
RaRa is known for her rich, southern soul-inspired sound. With a global journey that has taken her from Cheltenham to China, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Nashville and Memphis, RaRa draws from a diverse range of influences. Her co-writing collaborations include the likes of John Fortis (Ellie Goulding), Paul O'Duffy (Amy Winehouse), Ant Whiting (John Newman) and James Reynolds, who has worked with artists such as Dua Lipa and Paloma Faith.
RaRa has recorded tracks and created new material with Grammy Award Winning Producer Lawrence ‘Boo’ Mitchell(Record Of The Year) as well as with ‘Hi Rhythm Section’ (known for their work with Al Green) as her studio band at the esteemed Royal Studios in southern Memphis.
RaRa has previously performed on The James Whale Show on Talk TV as well as The Shooting Stars Ball including her song ‘Glitter’ appearing on BBC One National TV. In 2022, she graced the stage at The Variety Club Showbusiness Awards alongside Beverley Knight, Katherine Jenkins, and Gary Barlow, hosted by Amanda Holden.
After recently transitioning from being under management to becoming an independent artist Rara is determined to take control of her music career. Major increase in world-class1 deposit of EU Critical Raw Materials in Norway
Indicated category more than doubles to 948 million tonnes
Total resource of the Bjerkreim Exploration Project now more than 4.5 billion tonnes
Norge Mining, the Anglo-Norwegian mineral exploration company with a world-class resource of Critical Raw Materials in southwest Norway, announces an updated Mineral Resource statement for its Storeknuten Deposit of phosphate, titanium, iron ore and vanadium totalling 3.17 billion tonnes, reported in accordance with terms and definitions of the JORC2 Code (2012). The Mineral Resource has substantially increased from the 1.94 billion tonnes reported in October 2023, further underlining the global significance of the discovery.
Storeknuten, also called the Eigersund Project, is part of the Høyland Exploration Area in the Company’s Bjerkreim Exploration Project, which is currently working towards the completion of a pre-feasibility study. Storeknuten is located in southwest Norway in the large Bjerkreim-Sokndal Layered Intrusion of norite rock. Norite hosts all of the minerals that the Company is targeting.
