Hitting the Right Note - L’Eze Harmonies in Partnership with Savills Monaco & Burgess Yachts

From the 2-4 June, L’Eze Harmonies showcased the exceptional setting of Eze Village in a whole new light, illuminating the village with musical charm and a sense of magic. Featuring an original operetta, children’s community choir, several world class recitals, a unique tour through the village and a series of receptions in the Chèvre d’Or gardens, what better way to celebrate the start of the summer season on the Côte d’Azur? This was an event not to be missed. Savills are delighted to have supported this wonderful initiative and the excellent work in the local community.

Eze village is one of the top locations in the world on Instagram and if you have been lucky enough to visit you know why. Winding streets, breathtaking views, charm, style and beauty all wrapped up with a cinematic backdrop and daring history including Roman emperors, a siege and great escape. So what better way to share such a historic location and exceptional location than with  private evenings of music, artistry and community.

There is no denying that as a business and individuals we are passionate about the locations in which we live and communities we serve and what better way to give back than support the work of two local entrepreneurial and talented individuals, Remy Mathieu and Nicolas Cousin.  With extensive international musical careers and proud Eze natives, Eze Harmonies is the innovative concept of this powerhouse team, keen to feedback to their community using their musical passion and extensive network of contacts, which showcased 25 international artists collaborating to create an unforgettable event.    

On Sunday the 4th of June, Savills Monaco and French Riviera, alongside co-sponsors Burgess Yachts, had the pleasure of welcoming clients, friends and colleagues to the terraces of the Chevre d’Or Hotel, for a private evening concert overlooking the dramatic Mediterranean sea and Riviera coastline. Following an evening drinks reception, with wines selected by local supplier La Conciergerie, Villefranche and classical musical accompaniment, guests had the rare opportunity to experience a private concert by Stéphane Degout, a world renowned tenor accompanied by pianist Cédric Tiberghien. As the moon rose over the coastline and the music soared into the night, this was a fitting finale for an exceptional event, one described by guests as “delightful, beyond words” and we for one, cannot wait to see what awaits next year. Savills Monaco and French Riviera Sponsor the First Good Life Wellness Day Event in Monaco

The first inaugural ‘Good Life’ wellness day event took place at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel in Monaco, with a waitlist the same size as the list of 94 attendees that were lucky enough to secure themselves a spot. Savills Monaco and French Riviera saw the sponsorship of this event as a great way to vocally show how the company supports wellness both in the workplace and within the home and also as a way to support an event helping the local community.

The day was hosted by Gavin Sharpe of Riviera Wellbeing, a local therapy centre and Dufflyn Lammers an addiction and relationship coach, originally from the USA but now living in Paris. From the off the event was fun and lively, with high levels of audience participation which reflected the good rapport the hosts had with the attendees.

Throughout the day there were various lectures on wellness areas such as discovering your authentic self, your relationship with money, love and problem behaviours. There was also an incredible workshop which developed a sense of self-awareness.

The cherry on top of the cake was that all proceeds of the event were dedicated to Child CARE Monaco. Money that will be used for new projects they are developing in south India.

The Principality has managed the pandemic well, and at the time of writing, has begun to ease its health measures in concert with falling infection rates. This has contributed to a bumper year for the property market within the Principality, with the perceived stability boosting desirability and pushing prices to all-time highs.
